We were commissioned to do this artwork for a television pilot pitch called Fro Sho (A Southeast Product).
More than a shirt, a story.
Inspired by FUNK itself. In 1969 an intergalactic Afro haired goddess descended upon earth to liberate all silk kings and queens hair with her cosmic powers she dubbed, “Electric Sheen”. But with a change in hairstyles also came a change in mentalities. The radiation affected everyone differently.
